Decent, Low-Action but Inoffensive Episode

Warning: Spoilers
In this adventure, Steve goes undercover as a police officer (Los Angeles?) so he can be assigned as the partner of an aging officer who mysteriously did not respond to a series of calls in recent weeks that coincided with the theft of key parts to making a nuclear bomb.
Oscar suspects that the officer is in on it. Steve is skeptical, but he goes along with the assignment. Upon meeting the officer, Steve's skepticism is at first supported, then Oscar's suspicions are supported. The cop is kind of slow, and seemingly leaves Steve hanging in a few confrontations with criminal suspects.
Later, Steve finds out that the officer has a neurological disorder that causes blackouts-- which, so far, he's been keeping relatively private, though he confides in the female radio dispatcher, which leads to some more clues to the case.
The guest actors are just fine, here. I'd swear that the fellow playing the older cop also showed up in an episode of "The Incredible Hulk" a few years later.
The climax is about the only part of the episode that features any decent action. Steve gets to go on the run for a little while when he's framed for attacking his cop partner. He then has to hastily go to the main bad guys hideout (would be bombers paid by sketchy forces) and handle business before getting possibly shot at by police who don't know about the frame-up.

Atomic bomb components have been stolen over a series of thefts and Oscar suspects one old cop, Officer Banner of being involved. Steve goes undercover as a rookie cop named Aimry to investigate.
It's fun to see Steve go undercover as a cop, and he is there to observe Noah Beery's character, who is suspected of being in cahoots with the thieves, and with some of his behaviour such as disappearing during an arrest, it's understandable, but Steve being a human character has doubts that Noah is a shady officer. Could be that there's another explanation? It's a lively episode with some action scenes - Best scene is Steve tearing a fence and wrapping it over the villains. Well, that's one way to wrap up a good episode!
