A hungry Ash, Misty, and Brock stop at a Pokemon Center, and meet a Blissey with a common "friend"...
Upon original airing, it had been quite a while since Jessie had a character episode. In "Ignorance is Blissey", Jessie reconnects with a friend from Pokemon Nursing School; a Blissey! The Blissey is a clumsy, well-meaning friend to everyone she meets, and ends up giving Team Rocket the entire food reserve at the Pokemon Center. In order to protect her friend from being fired, Jessie takes the blame for stealing the food, and is blasted off for it. The Jessie backstory is very sweet, and the audience gets to see a seldom-seen softer side to her. Blissey over-helping Ash by spilling food on him and cleaning his back with the hard-bristled brush were fun moments. Even though not much happens in this episode, the heart alone is enough to make it worth a recommendation.
