Ash and friends encounter a Ledyba trainer who gets her whistle stolen...
The episodes that feature Ash, Misty, and Brock helping some character-of-the-day become a better trainer are all well and good, but they often make for boring episodes. That's pretty much the case with this Ledyba episode. Arielle is a forgettable trainer, trying to learn how to command her Ledyba without the whistle, only to never be seen again once the episode is over. What a journey... Team Rocket has the best segments in this episode. The opening scene of TR's bridge plan failing instantly, them dressing up as the TV hosts, and Meowth using the whistle to command Arbok are all good moments that save this episode from complete irrelevance.
