Dad takes his grass seriously.

For the first episode in season two, the time is right around the 4th of July, and all seems well. That is until little Pete causes an explosion on Dad's yard making an ugly black area. The reason that the area is so bad is that Dad is in a contest with a neighbor across the street on who can have the best lawn. Dad is outraged and grounds Pete for an entire month which means he will miss the Wellsville firework show.

Pete decides to tunnel out of the house and escape. He has made his plan carefully and the time for escape will be the 4th of July while everyone is at the fireworks show. Everything is set for his freedom.

The second season starts off with a bang as the story was truly out of a teenagers life. Every kids wants to get out of being grounded and the writers did a great job of making the story interesting for all watchers. The contest with the neighbor and a new kid, Nona, on the block made for an entertaining episode. This was a holiday theme show that really hit the mark. Good watch.
