Never mention a deceased spouse to a woman in love...or an ex-spouse to a jealous husband.

Warning: Spoilers
It's ironic how Arthur and Vivian's problems transfer over to Maude and Walter when Vivian proclaims jealousy over Arthur's constantly mentioning his late wife Agnes. Arthur does it without even realizing that he's doing it, and their constant bickering about it eventually causes Walter to reveal that he's jealous of the ghosts of Maude's previous husbands. both couples begin to act like children with Maude deciding that she's going to sell the house because she doesn't want Walter to get more jealous over living under a roof where she shared a bedroom with ex-husbands, one for a very short time.

Just when everything's settled back to normal, Arthur ruins it again, of course without realizing it. A very funny episode with a very real problem, and it's ironic that Vivian's ex-spouses are not mentioned or Walter's. The ensemble is basically limited to the two different couples with Carol not in this episode and Florida barely seen as well. A funny script deals with the issues in a way that seems extremely real, and it's obvious that any couple watching this episode who had their own previous spouses might truly identify with the situation and be able to laugh at it.

Arthur And Vivian's First Fight

Arthur and Vivian argue over Arthur's constantly talking about his late wife Agnes.

A good episode, some funny moments. It begins with Maude complaining about aerosol cans after she sprays her hair with Lemon Pledge. Arthur and Vivian are coming over for dinner and Maude is dreading their lovey-dovey moments. However they come to the door yelling and arguing with each other. They try to make up but Arthur keeps comparing Vivian to Agnes. This starts an argument between Maude and Walter as he complains about living in her last husband's house.
