Double Date

Young single men like Bob and Terry would be interested in girls. Only they seem to be nursing over their latest failed romance. This time it is Bob who is feeling down.

Things perk up when Terry spots two young women in the cafe. Deirdre (Coral Atkins) and Pat (Susan Jameson) are footloose and fancy free. They just know the lads are making eyes at them. They know that soon one of them would walk up to them and make a gag.

The double date goes well. A Chinese restaurant and maybe a kiss or two. Even Bob did not want the evening to end. It just turns out to be an expensive evening for Bob and Terry.

As for Deirdre and Pat, they talk about kissing techniques. Also one of them did not like Chinese food.

Actually kissing techniques is something women talk about. It was funny to see Pat opening her mouth to demonstrates Bob's way of doing it.

It was notable to see Susan Jameson in the second episode. She and James Bolam would get married in real life.

Coral Atkins (Deirdre) and Susan Jameson (Pat) are excellent foils for Terry and Bob's advances. The writing is superb.
