Warning: Spoilers
'Diet of Destruction'.

Spider-Man is up against a HILARIOUSLY silly foe this time around: an enormous monster robot straight out of a B sci-fi picture. The thing has a furnace inside its mouth and eats practically anything metal that it can get its "hands" on. The extreme silliness of the premise is just too much fun to resist, and Peter Parker must produce new, much tougher variations on his webbing that the thing can't easily break. It's such a hoot seeing Spidey operate a tugboat at the end.

'The Witching Hour'.

This marks the first series appearance of Spidey's nemesis The Green Goblin (voice of Len Carlson), who is busy putting together the elements he needs for the title occasion. The Goblin intends to recruit otherworld demons to join his cause, and recruits Jameson to do it. (The idea that Jameson is truly one in a million is absolutely delicious, since he falls into a trance reading a nonsense "want ad" that the Goblin sends to the Bugle.) Complete with some fun altercations between Spidey & The Goblin, and spirits that wouldn't scare a five year old, this is prime entertainment for Spidey fans.

Eight out of 10.
