Warning: Spoilers
Full disclosure: I know the producers (and a number of the actors) and my husband appeared in a crowd scene. However, I think 3:16 is a movie everyone should see and think about.

Watch "3:16" -- but bring hankies! http://www.fylmz.com/view_notloggedin.php?filmID=1069 When the parents of a small child must choose between giving their son's entire blood supply (killing the child) to save the world from a pandemic or allowing the world to die of the pandemic, they face one of the most horrifying decisions any parent can make. And what happens after "happily ever after"? Does anybody care anymore? No-one can (or at least, no-one should) watch "3:16" and remain unmoved. (And, yes, there's a subtext. Deal with it. :-P)

Very powerful for a 19 minute film

Not many full length features affect me like this short film did. Of course a lot of the details had to be hurried over but overall message what still there. The entire cast did a great job and I think the mother was excellent. I think this could be a great feature length film and hope to see that soon. Without spoiling the ending, the plot is that a virus is introduced that is killing a large portion of the population. To create an antidote they need a certain blood type from a healthy person. A boy is identified who fits the criteria so his parents need to decide whether to allow him to give his blood. It's a very powerful film and I highly recommend it.
