A fun little behind-the-scenes making of documentary
Woodyanders19 March 2008
Warning: Spoilers
This entertainingly breezy and zippy 8 minute making of documentary offers a nice glimpse at the shooting of the nifty low-budget horror/action item "Dracula's Curse." Among the folks interviewed are likable Thomas Downey, charming Rhett Giles, affable Ron Nagel, funny Derek Osedach, and sexy Eliza Swenson. Downey, Giles, and Nagel all talk about their roles in the flick. Moreover, we also get to see rehearsals for the action scenes, the building of the sets, the filming of several scenes, and the cast goofing off in between takes. Director Osedach presents this snazzy short with a winning dearth of pretense and a refreshing sense of giddy humor. Granted, this isn't the most revealing or incisive making of documentary ever produced, but it does the trick just the same in a pleasingly brisk and straightforward manner.
