The danger of gossip.
Sleepin_Dragon10 October 2017
Sarah is shocked to see Eleanor reading the Sun, after a brief conversation Sarah gets drawn into Eleanor's world of gossip. Eleanor is annoyed to hear Sarah's branded her a gossip, but a flippant comment from Sarah about the Vicar carrying on with the Sunday School teacher is spread by Eleanor. Sarah also has the unwanted affections of a young man, Derek, Mary's grandson, to ward him off Sarah invents a mystery man.

It's fun to see Sarah poking fun at Eleanor's snobbery, it's also amusing to see her worried about turning into her mother. Sarah's frustrations with her mother continue to grow, and as a viewer you're almost glad to see it happen.

Finally we get to hear Mary speak, she's been so funny throughout, and at last gets some lines. Derek is an appalling character, utterly unbelievable, quite poorly performed.

Funny and ridiculous 8/10
