  Chloe O'Brian : Mayer? Isn't he the guy who "grilled" you this morning at the Senate subcommittee hearing this morning?

  Jack Bauer : Yeah but the Senator isn't implicated in this conspiracy. Burnett has been providing support for Juma and Dubaku all along, I need you to delete his name from the list

  Chloe O'Brian : What? Why?

  Jack Bauer : If the FBI start to move in on him, he'll "lawyer up", and I won't get the information on time

  Chloe O'Brian : Where is he now?

  Jack Bauer : His at the White House with the Senator, they've got a meeting with the President, I'm on my way there now to be debriefed by Bill and I'll take care of him then

  Chloe O'Brian : You don't expect to interrogate a suspect in the White House?

  Jack Bauer : [Before hanging up]  let me handle that: just get his name deleted from the list, I'll get back to you

• Janis Gold : Are you busy?

  Chloe O'Brian : I'm just reformatting the server so yes I am busy, why?

  Janis Gold : Well, I was cross-referencing Dubaku's offshore accounts and I came across an orphaned header fragment

  Chloe O'Brian : What're you're you talking about?

  Janis Gold : [Hands her an external hard drive]  take a look

  Janis Gold : [after Chloe plugs in the external hard drive, points to Chloe's computer monitor]  ok, see? Right there, it's a random file header

  Chloe O'Brian : It's probably just a phantom data stream?

  Janis Gold : No, it isn't, I ran a system analysis: the coding is not "random", it can be traced back to the accounts. Also, it looks like a name was deleted from the list

  Chloe O'Brian : Why don't I run the recovery program?

  Janis Gold : [Sarcastically]  well, you're very "busy" with the reformatting and all so why don't I just upload it to my station and take care of it there?

  Chloe O'Brian : Oh, that's ok, I can do it faster: no offense, I'll let you know if I retrieve anything

  Janis Gold : [Before removing the external hard drive and leaving]  sure

• Jack Bauer : [Over the phone, while in the White House]  yeah?

  Chloe O'Brian : Have you got to Burnett yet?

  Jack Bauer : I'm working on it, I'm on my way over to the West Wing

  Chloe O'Brian : Someone here's figured out a name's been deleted from the list, I don't know how much longer I can hold her off

  Jack Bauer : [Referring to the name Jack asked Chloe to delete]  do they know it was Burnett?

  Chloe O'Brian : No, but it's just a matter of time
