This is another episode I have not seen since it was on TV. Surprisingly this episode never made it to youtube with the rest of them. My theory is because of a guitar riff is being played seems they are ripping off "It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll" by AC/DC. Youtube has copyright striked people for less.
Flem seems like a culmination of rockstars and their stereotypes. AC/DC for his "origin". Then you've got people like Dave Mustaine possibly for his hair color. Ozzy Osbourne for his name and so forth. The guitar seems like a mixture of a few but Dean, BC Rich or Ibanez also known as the worlds most over rated guitar brand. Maybe there's more or less inspiration from other places. I HATE the way they drew him. His nipples just look weird. Though his cripple love song is kind of catchy so hopefully the singer had a tiny bit of success. Beyond a tiny bar, playing in front of his friends.
I can see this working out well. Considering Riley's situation and most wouldn't refuse to meet their idols and go on tour with them. The ending works out in the typical quads fashion.
