A young director's Jack Hsu's first movie, with a bold plan on issuing a "REAL" Self Token on the Ethereum blockchain in the real world. It's the first and original Immersive Entertainment in not only Taiwan, but to the whole world. Thumbs up! Must see!!

Oh dear god, this was insufferable...

When I sat down to watch the 2019 Taiwanese drama "Sheng Ren Da Dao" (aka "The Last Thieves"), I had never actually heard about it. I happened to stumble upon the movie by random chance here in 2023, and my love of the Asian cinema made me pick up the movie and give it a go without knowing what I was in for. Initially I was thrilled to see Eric Tsang on the cast list and figured it would be all bad then.
However, writers Jack Hsu and Wan-Ju Yang failed to produce a script and storyline that had the least bit of appeal to me. A movie about crypto currency, banking, and finance just hardly constitutes entertainment in my book. Needless to say that I didn't stick around to finish the movie, in fact, I made it about 20 minutes into the ordeal, then I just had enough self-inflicted suffering. The script was utter rubbish and just utterly failed to entertain me in the least bit.
I am sure that the acting performances in "Sheng Ren Da Dao" were good, though I didn't stick around long enough to really notice. And long before the 20 minute marker, my interest in the storyline was waning, so I sort of gradually faded out of watching it.
This is by no means a movie that I will ever return to attempt to finish watching.

This is a movie about blockchain. It discusses about the social issues that nowadays people are facing, which makes you reflect whether you should give up your dream when facing the reality. Therefore, I highly recommend this movie to all of you, and hope to see you in the cinema !

I've already watched it twice, and it's incredibly awesome! the plot of this film is actually not really complicated, it's not that kind of movie to tell you what is "Blockchain", what is "Cryptocurrency" "ICO" and blablabla... it just simply talk about the dark side of humanities and financial issues. I highly recommend it to everyone! just go and let it amaze you!

Really exciting. Not a moment I am bored. First Chinese movie on block chain with great actors and actresses. Songs are meaningful and nice. The songs complement the movie and relives the memories of the movie. Like 👍

From youtube, I began to pay attention to this production team. At the very beginning, crowdfunding supported this first commercial war film in Taiwan. The result was more than expected. This is a very deep film. Very cleverly presenting the issues that we should all think about in this society.
