John Waters, David Edelstein, Whoopi Goldberg, Mink Stone, Edward Furlong, film critic Michael Musto and Bob Shaye are among the people interviewed to discuss the cult classic PINK FLAMINGOS.
If you're a fan of the film then you'll certainly enjoy this documentary and especially since Waters himself is on hand to discuss the movie. He talks about what he was going for, what he was trying to do with it and how it effected his career. We also hear from Bob Shaye who ended up buying the film. There's a bunch of archival footage from the film's release where we get interviews with people just walking out of their screening, which is great.
This runs under thirty minutes but it's a nice little tribute to the film as well as to the man who made it. The interviews are extremely good and it's funny knowing that AMC couldn't actually show too many clips from the actual movie they're discussing.
