The Perfect episode for an almost perfect season
houmani-404087 May 2020
Perfect Episode , Perfect ending , Great script , great acting , great directing by Mädchen Amick know as "Alice Cooper". We can always notice this chemistry between Jughead and Betty while Investigating , leaving us with future detectives..

Very weird
millsifer8 May 2020
This episode was incredibly weird. The characters seemed to ignore EVERYTHING that has happened in the last few episodes. All I want from the show is some lasting consequences, especially with the couples. Bughead is adorable, but so is barchie, and it's not normal for couples to stay together for 4 years in a tv show, and its unfair for people to expect that from Riverdale. Also Mr Honey is so unfairly treated, Cheryl literally locked a teacher in an office and put a bee hive on his desk because he cancelled a dance (3 students were murdered at the last one). Like he's just trying his best to be a head teacher and these kids are plotting to murder him for revenge for stuff he had every right to do. I do think the idea behind it was great, but it seemed to fit with the trend that the writers on Riverdale just thinks of a good idea, and then just does it, without much of a reason. They seem to have different people plan different episodes, so the entire season doesn't really fit together as a whole, but each episode is ok individually. It just felt a bit detached.

the 10/10s are joking right?
bettttycooper7 May 2020
Seriously even if you are like the biggest riverdale fan ever you should KNOW deep down somewhere that this show or more specifically this season does not deserve a 10/10!! Now ofc your entitled to your opinion and that's fine but what isn't fine is the quailty of this show! Literally keeps getting worse season by season episode by episode! The writing is so bad. Nothing makes sense. The characters are out of control. The things they say and the things they do... The acting is so meh and everything else is also a MESS!!! The only reason I'm giving this a 3/10 is because I promised myself not to give 1s or 2s no matter how bad a movie or show is. 3 is my lowest point and it's deserving for the worst show I have ever seen in my life. And oh believe me I have seen a lot of bad shows. Pretty little liars or even glee. But this is by far the worst "teenage" show I have seen. I mean it shouldn't even be allowed on the screen!!! Sexualizing teenagers at every chance. Come on CW! Do humanity a favor and camcel this mess!

where is Toni?
magdi_iovi20 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I get that you can't use all of the characters/actors in one episode, but shouldn't Toni be there, supporting Cheryl if nothin else? seriously people I'm rating it with a 5 cause the double story was half alright, but, and this from a past episode, are we just ignoring the fact that Cheryl mom is allowed to live happily after tryin to kill everyone, with Cheryl being worried for her wellbeing even? ok...

This show is a joke! But the joke's on them.
m-478267 May 2020
For once, these characters get what they deserve, and pay for their entitlement and over confidence. If it wasn't for the last 10 minutes, I would've hated that episode. First writers rip off Teaching Mrs. Tingle, and make « their vilain » look as ridiculous and amateurish as their messy scripts. Then they also create an alternate universe where even stupider things happen, only to be rewritten inside the show's timeline. Which made the script run on empty. Before that weird last minute twist, where the « voyeur » plot is apparently set to be next season main arc. And a strange feeling of déjà vu throughout. What a season finale!...

Uplanned season leads to bad season finale with no payoff at all
gjgcr15 May 2020
Honestly why do we even try to defend this show, even if they had the time to finish the season what could've we had gotten, tickle videos the finale or preppy kids being annoying or the last time jug head gets beaten and is alive at the end this show has never had a road map and it will never want to build one.

Dumbs kid
sailor_julia8 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Seriously It was so obvious!! Of course jug story was going to be stole! After everything jug still leave his note for every one to see it??!! They should have just tarnish his reputation by taking him to the tikles room. It would have been funny. But nooo, jug is writing a book who can easily be stole and now the tape will be his demise if honey is really dead. I was very disappointed by this episode it was like those dumb kids are not careful although what happened to them. I fell like by watching this episode they still trust every one so out of caractère Generally in the other episode they are on their garde. And who's using a tape this day certainly not a student they don't think about that? For that I'll give 5 stars only one this episode who could have been better.

Dreaming of Revenge
vivianla20 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The kids dream and ponder over how to get revenge. Mr. Honey has punished them over the year and has been watchful of them since the first day of school. Jughead writes a novel about the kids murdering Mr. Honey for the University of Iowa. Mr. Honey informs FBI as well as Jug and Betty (as they are working with Betty's brother), that a video tape was sent showing every part of the school - classrooms, locker rooms, etc. Betty catches Mr. Honey in the video and her eyes are mesmerizingly beautiful in this scene. Her eyes are so wide and she is shocked. Mr. Honey filmed the video to cancel prom. The students inform their parents and they all walk in to see Mr. Honey in person. The fashion and contrast of the ages between the parents and students are shown. Jug in his novel makes Reggie go crazy with guilt and there is a fight in the locker room in his novel. Reggie dies. Betty and Jug watches another newly sent tape and goes to the cabin that is filmed. This cabin is where Veronica's mom had her affair. The scenes were very well done at the cabin - the lighting, mood, the messiness. Betty finds another tape and it ends off with them beginning to watch.

Season 4 - Episode 19
willow-4891110 May 2020
I enjoyed episode 17/18 and 19 felt pointless and rushed. Never read the comics so I could be wrong? I really hope Barchie story is not over (still three episode of season 4 to go) and please stick to the raw material, takes the thinking out of it.

Death of the Archie-franchise
gacsogergely10 November 2021
Really as amateurish work as a school-performance.

The writing, directing - which even hurts the acting - is closing to Suburban Sasquach.

No wonder people keep complaining about the quality of the show sinking. Mr. Roberto is a heck. He is good doing a first episode, sometimes a first season, but after that he has no plan, neither attention-span to keep the show running.

Katy Keene didn't keep to its initial setup after its first episode, and was definitely written through the "let's see what sticks" approach.

Riverdale had a good first season, but it dropped its entire setup (mysteries-drama) after that, and turned into soap-opera with season 2, and at season 4 nothing holds it together anymore. The time-jump after season 4 (which pretends to be part of season 5, but we all know it is not) exist just to give more leaway with the glue drying up and crumbling.

Or how about The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, otherwise known as Chaos, which premise was if protagonist signs the book, ALL is lost, can't even breath without permission? Ye, that was out of the window, because they wrote themselves into a corner, and the series sank into chaos.

In the meantime Mr. Robert also ruined the Archie-comics, preventing it from keep running transfering its writer(s) to Riverdale.
