This is a new Talking Heads script written by Alan Bennett only last year, featuring Sarah Lancashire. She cannot control her lust for her 15 year old son, and one wonders where this could lead. Sarah's acting is top notch and makes you feel uncomfortable.

Brilliant

Lancashire's performance and Bennett's words were riveting, thought-provoking, and quietly incredible. My only negative take-away is that it makes me quite terrified about having children.

Rarely do you watch something and think how brave just to write it let alone perform in it. It's uncomfortable yet gripping.

It's nice to see that amongst the classic monologues being revisited for this 2020 series Alan Bennett has also penned new ones like this.

Dark, with a twisted narrative, this is well written and delivered.
