Heartwarming
staffrodite4 July 2020
I wasn't even going to watch it but am so glad I did...

Each couple had their own unique set of issues to be overcome and the hosts were just so sincere in their advice and candid about their own life experiences. I bawled like a baby.

Jeremiah made me laugh so hard - what a great bunch of guys. I hope to see more in the future!

Not A Mean Bone In Its Body...
larrydelacruzph3 July 2020
...and not a dry eye in the house. A lot of heart, a lot of fun, and a whole lot of feels.

Unlike other shows of this type, its refreshing that the focus is on the subjects rather than the hosts/makeover-ers who seem to be more concerned about elevating their pop culture status than actually helping.

Speaking of the hosts, these three are charming, sincere, and real, opting to stay on the sidelines and letting the couples' stories shine. And what stories they are. Whoever does the casting on this show should be commended for finding people you not only root for but feel for. You want to wish them well.

While not entirely original (then again these days, what is?) SAY I DO is a welcome addition to this genre.

Amazing, beautiful, touching and heartwarming show.

Wow, what a beautiful and heartwarming show! The three men that help to create the wedding for each episode are absolutely amazing. They all seem to have a huge heart and they have incredible chemistry together. The stories they've chosen for each episode are deeply touching. The visuals are breathtakingly beautiful. I was really blown away by this show, because it feels very genuine... The three guys really care about the couples they meet and their stories and it shows in the weddings they create and the bond they form with everyone. I hope there will be many, many more to come... Great show!!!

If you want to believe in love again, watch this show!! These are REAL couples. One surprises the other with the wedding of their dreams. Not only does it showcase their love stories, but it also makes you feel like you know these people. These couples lay down their hearts and their truth and they show you what it really means to be authentic.

I have never given a 10/10 until now.

"Say I Do," is a rare gem amongst other current shows.

The marriage/wedding shows we typically see are about dating around, hooking up, blind/quick engagements, hot passion and drama, or something else that totally destroys the beauty of marriage and the meaningful relationships they are built upon.

This show is the opposite. It takes solid and beautiful long term relationships that have endured problems, insecurities, financial hardship, death of a family member, etc, and gives them a chance to start over... all while giving them their dream wedding.

I am sure, like most shows, it is partly staged in some areas, or scripted in others. But, the show seems real, and raw, and emotional. It is easy to find yourself cheering on the couple as they rebuild their life and love.

Outside of the topic of the show. The directing, lighting, cinematography and music are amazing! They do an amazing job of making a simple tv show feel like a grand and amazing high budget film. Great editing and timing.

Well done! I hope we get more seasons and can continue to show the splendid beauty of love and hard work in marriage.

Absolutely in love with this show...

So much heart. So much sincerity. So much realness. It gets you laughing and then crying and then laughing and crying at the same time. Hard for one not to identify with each different story told in every episode The three hosts of the show are charming, charismatic, sincere, funny, and amazingly talented in what they do. One can't help but 'Say I do' to this show right from the very first episode.

Like Mary Poppins, this is practically perfect in every way!

I'm a sucker for weddings and shows about weddings, so when I saw this pop up on Netflix I didn't hesitate to hit play. 8 hours later and I'm wrecked, in a good way. This show is beautiful. Each couple is truly deserving of such a wonderful experience and that makes viewers want to root for them all. The love stories are so genuine as is the caring hosts, Thai, Jeremiah, and Gabriele. I want to be friends with all three of them and I also would love to be friends with every single couple too. It's all just so heartwarming and feel-good. Exactly what's needed in the world right now and I truly hope there's a season two in the works. Grab a bunch of tissues and get cozy because you'll be bingeing this one until the final episode for sure!

Wanted to be dramatic, it is trash
gabycs1124 July 2020
Such a horrible show. The force the drama so much that I got lost. In 20 minutes 80% of the people were ill or dead. It is impossible to believe. Dont watch it. Top ten of worst television.

So glad I took a chance on this!

I am in love with this show! Each couple's story was so captivating and I found myself rooting for each of them. Each story and circumstance was pretty eye opening to hardships or obstacles that others have to endure, especially Randy and Skylar's. I absolutely fell in love with the three "groomsmen" or hosts. They really shared their stories and seemed personally invested in those they were helping. I hope there is a Season 2!

The Most Heartfelt Show I've Ever Watch.
Going into the show I assumed it was another wedding show. I was so wrong, when Marcus and Gabriele were talking and Gabriel's disclosed his status I just cried. My son died a few months before his 27th birthday from complications of AIDS but, he never talked about his illness. Maybe if he did, he could've handle it better. Gabriele, you are in my prayers. I love Thai (my husband's name is Thai) and of course Jeremiah. You are making beautiful dreams come true!

Falling in love...
rayzofsunshine12 July 2020
I am falling in LOVE with this Netflix series! The story of LOVE(each and every one) are absolutely BEAUTIFUL pieces of Love & Art! My heart was tugged with each episode. I literally want to send a letter to each of the brides and grooms and the awesome experts after each episode! In our world today, there is so much tearing people apart and this show is such a BEAUTIFUL picture of UNITY and LOVE! I type this in tears, so grateful that I got to witness such joy and unconditional love! I'm sure that I'm a fan, but more than anything I am always a supporter of sharing LOVE and this series does that in the BEST way! So wonderful to have something so precious and loaded with love (&the experts talent) to thoroughly enjoy! You rocked this!

Don't forget the KLEENEX!
lisagillrichardson28 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I finished watching the first season of Say I Do. It was truly a heartwarming and heart-tugging I finished watching the first season of Say I Do. It was truly a heartwarming and heart tugging program. There should be a warning posted before watching this program. Viewers, remember your favorite snacks, drinks and above all else, don't forget the KLEENEX! I can't recall the last time a movie or show has made me cry soooo much. The three hosts are totally compatible and in sync with each other. I love the way they work together to bring the wedding vision to life. Not only do they profess sage wisdom, but they bring out the best in their clients and each other. Gabe your culinary skills are off the chain. I like how you are willing to broaden your horizons in the kitchen. I am referring to the first episode with Marcus and Tiffany. Marcus wanted soul-food and you delivered. Jeremiah talent for transforming the wedding vision into a sensory explosion of color, style and textures are truly amazing. Every wedding venue and theme was truly breath taking. Last, but definitely not least, Thai, your eye for fashion and pizzazz is truly outstanding. I couldn't wait to see what the brides and grooms would be wearing. Everybody looked like royalty. The black gown you designed for Tiffany fit her elegantly. I especially loved the transformation in the last episode with Skyler and Ryan. Ryan not only looked happy, and comfortable, but, he looked younger too. This show is for every and anybody. Love is for any age, and any stage. People are people. Gay, straight and everything in between. We all need and want love. Any chance of showing your viewing audience follow ups for the first seasons couples? I would like to know if my fellow Zeta Sorority sister Tiffany, have any additions to her family, since her episode aired? Thai, I commend you for wanting and waiting for the approval from your parents before your nuptials. But, if you never receive them, I pray you will go out and have the wedding of your dreams with your beau Kevin. You three bring so much joy and happiness to your clients, I pray you all receive just as much as you dole out. Wishing you many seasons. God Bless You Guys!!!

Reminiscent of Queer Eye!
henryshear7 July 2020
I absolutely loved this series. I found it after stumbling upon it and was not surprised that David Collins, who did Queer Eye, had a large role to play in the creation of the show.

I had heard of Jeremiah Brent because of Nate Berkus, but I loved hearing about Thai Nguyen and Gabriele Bertaccini. Each of them are able to connect with each person and profoundly changes the lives of a few of them. I loved how unscripted some of the show is as well.

I do think that Queer Eye is a far superior show, but this is still very emotional and meaningful. Therefore, I highly recommend the show. During this pandemic, it can feel very hard to have a positive outlook on life or be positive. I think shows like this can brighten one's day even if it is only briefly. I highly recommend to watch the show and enjoy it!!!

Very disapointing from the "Queer Eye" producers.

Inspiring stories, for sure. But the poor editing and general lack of actual wedding planning and putting the events together left me very disappointed.

This show was absolutely amazing! The stories and struggles of each couple is so touching and wonderful. The host are so incredibly sympathetic and perfect. It's not just a wedding show, it's a show that makes you feel. I cried during every episode, tears of sorrow and then of joy. Truly deserving couples. And Gabriele, Thai and Jeremiah are absolutely amazing individuals. Truly a feel good show. I hope there will be more seasons and episodes in the future.

This magical collection of heart-warming life stories is the perfect antidote to some of the sadness in the world right now. Each episode is unique. Each has lessons to teach us. Each is bathed in love. I couldn't recommend this series highly enough. The three young men who host these stories are life changers. Stunning TV.

AMAZING SHOW CANT WAIT FOR SEASON 2!
pamela-i-gomez23 July 2020
I am beyond in love with the way this show was created. Every couple was so unique and focused on their stories and hardships that many people face but are not as open about. It really shows true love in a raw way. Jeremiah, Thai, and Gabriele could not be any more perfect for this part!!! I love them so much they are so real and genuinely involved I wish there was more to watch I did not want it to end!!

Queer Eye for weddings
ellenringrose8 July 2020
This show is great! Fashion, interior design, catering, as well as life coaching and the most LOVELY people. It's really similar to Queer Eye, except there's no one as loud and fun as Johnathan. The show is more serious than Queer Eye but it's honesty great.
