There are only 2 episodes in all the years I found that earned a 10, this episode and when Meredith builds the candle house. Just as they found a perfect way for the character of Meredith to take a chance on love they too found the perfect way for Derek to propose. Shonda Rhimes either has a amazing imagination or some incredibly interesting people in her life.

Elevator moment

The opening of this episode is really great! I love little insights into all of the characters private life. And then the awful moment in Cristina's bed. That was such good TV!!! The episode starts off with a bang, and there is tension and excitement right away.

It is a serious episode, one that really hits you in the soul. There is so much sadness, yet so much beauty, so much truth. The managed to make Izzie's first hospital day very realistic, and all of the cast are doing a great job in this episode. Bailey is amazing, and I love how Sheperd slowly finds his way back. The case with the old lady who dies is also incredibly beautiful and sad. But why Mark is the attending on that case, I really don't understand....

Anyways; fantastic episode!!

From about two episodes the episodes excitement started to get down, the scenes heat started to go down. I said to myself i will not continue watching if it will keep up like that. but suddenly wow! I mean wow! the episodes level got up fast the scenes got more awesome. Shepard refuse to go to work, Hunt issue with Christina got more series, Alex and Izzie is back together and she has to do an operation the story got more awesome. the acting is going to better and better I think if they keep up like that they can make until season 10 : ) also what I want to say to the writers keep going on that track it's totally awesome!

This Episode begins with Alex, he sees Izzie lying in a bed at the hospital. Callie is dancing with Arizona. Owen strangles Cristina in the middle of the night. Owen his PTSD endangers Cristina. Izzie her cancer treatments start today, she will be in surgery in Derek's OR. Derek performs Izzie's surgery. Joyce past away. Izzie's surgery went well today, the tumor has been removed. Cristina has sex with Owen. Derek show Meredith the surgeries they performed together in the elevator. Derek kissed Meredith. Cristina broke up with Owen. Derek and Meredith are engaged. Amazing Episode of Grey's Anatomy Season 5, what a emotional Episode. Meredith and Derek are finally engaged. Izzie's surgery went well, now she needs more treatments.
