It is unfortunate to see such a big portion of an otherwise good episode (and a very interesting subject) was dedicated to a man and a game in no way important to the industry or the history of role-playing genre, holding value only to a minority.
I don't have anything against LGBT people, but this was absolutely detrimental to the series.

I really like the series but I really wondered why the hell would someone go metaldetecting on a graveyard!? I go out with my metal detector a lot but would never go metal detecting a graveyard. What's wrong with that guy?
This ep is just as good as all the rest!

This whole series has a specific vision and executes it consistently across each episode. If you're not into rpg's maybe you won't be into this ep but it's just as good as the others and conveys an important piece of gaming history.

Why, again why?
You take a very important part of video/Computer games history, make an episode "about it" and then just almost completely neglect it in order to shove human stupidity into people's faces.
I am just imagining those empty heads in suits sitting and drooling about at which point to shove agenda into it. Doesn't have to matter, doesn't have to make sense, nothing, just shove it in.
So, those interested in RPG part of history, sorry... You may get some by skipping good part of nonsense in this episode, but it's nevertheless disappointing.
(Previous one also shoved another piece of agenda that almost had no place, but it was a bit less intrusive)

Unfortunately some people are homophobic and they can't see the presence of gays without being offended. Otherwise, it's just another episode, exactly as good as the others. If the guy who lost his game was straight, the people who rated this negatively wouldnt have rated it at all. Too bad for them he's gay ;( . Thoughts and prayers go out to them.
