Watched 3 episodes and am done with the series because not only is the judging very biased, but Buddy relies just about as much on animatronics, wood frames and other non-edible fixtures as the people working in the other mediums. Typical example was the animatronics episode where Buddie's elf workshop was all out of wood -with some gingerbread tiles slapped on the outside -, the conveyer was wood & metal, there was lots of animatronic movement (ie machinery) and it looked like only the cakes were actually edible. The animatronic team did a far more technically difficult project and it looked better - but once again, they lost because so far, Buddy wins every contest. It makes for a boring competition and the whole thing feels rigged. Why make it a contest when the result is a forgone conclusion? And by the way, how does a "color blogger" qualify to judge this kind of thing anyway?

This show is a repeat of Buddy vs Duff. Buddy always wins. Other wise, Buddy will huff and puff and blow the house down! Come on food network, did Buddy send his Mafia friends to threaten the execs to make sure HE always wins ? Why the crap is he always winning when he keeps producing the same style of cakes, same designs, and same lack of imagination?

Why does Buddy get to use so many mechanical gadgets? He even used a golf cart last week. I thought he was only allowed to use cake. His opopponents only use what they are masters at (ie: blown glass, "Lego"s). Isn't he the 'Cake Master'?

Easily the most unlikable person on Food Network (edging out Jeff Mauro). This Buddy thug scowls and grumps his way through these fake "contests." He sneers and throws temper tantrums. Who wants to watch this crap and his childish antics? Not me, said the little red hen!

After Buddy's temper tantrum following his 2019 loss to Duff in Duff Vs Buddy, and then the re-engineered show in 2020 so that Buddy won (Like who couldn't see that coming) we get this show. I watched them to see if buddy would win and he did but only 1 win is what i would say was deserved. If you want to watch some really cool displays, this has them. If you want fair judging, look elsewhere.

It's not a "competition" if Buddy always wins. Apparently he needed to contractually require the wins (like the last season of Buddy vs Duff) because his ego can't handle losing. He's lucky to have such a good team, because they do the work and make him look good. The topping - his builds have minimal cake.
