Memories keep the man alive.

Ming Henry is dead, survived by his three children, Mary, Elizabeth and Edward. A nine year old Edward is quickly crowned King, his uncle, the Duke of Somerset is appointed as Lord Protector.

If you've studied, or are well versed in The Tudor era, you may be bemused by a few things, the language being one, secondly, I'm not one hundred percent sure about some of the costumes, however for the casual viewer, there is a fair bit to enjoy.

The way that Henry's children are all shown as pawns in a game was accurate, the scheming began as soon as Henry drew his last breath, and with Edward so young, many stood to gain a lot of power, and pursue their own political agendas.

Jessica Raine and Tom Cullen impressed as The Master schemers, Oliver Zetterstrom and Alicia Von Rittberg brought Elizabeth and Edward to life, knowing how good an actress Romola Garai is, I await to see what she'll add as Mary Tudor.

Credit for telling this story, and for making it relevant.

7/10.
