The appetizer round must include the basket ingredients consisting of dino beef ribs, cherry coconut meat bars, an iceberg wedge, and morel mushrooms. The entrée round will feature porterhouse steaks, Salisbury steak frozen dinner, beefsteak tomatoes, and green chickpeas. Chocolate meat cookies, bresaola, polenta, and muscat grapes are ingredients to be combined to make a dessert.

Four chefs will compete to fight to be Chopped Champion again. They will be making three different desserts rather than the traditional appetizer, entrée, and dessert rounds with sugar and spice each time. The first round will include a gingerbread wreath, nutmeg with mace, Advocaat, and pomegranate. The ingredients for the second dessert round include a marshmallow treat snowman, Hanukkah gelt, red Anjou pears, and cloves. The final dessert round must incorporate the basket ingredients including a snow globe cake, cinnamon tree leaves, blood oranges, and clam-flavored candy canes.
