...and I didn't give the cast and writers enough credit. I knew we'd seen less of Christy in the last season but I still thought. Then title is "mom", how will that be without the daughter who started the whole story with her mom. Well it is mom, and for all the right reasons. Allison Janney is the centerpiece. She can do anything and the rest of the cast is amazing. I was afraid when Tammy entered the pic they were struggling for direction and had "jumped the shark". Again, these writers and cast have proven me wrong. This episode... I LOOOOOVED this episode. It's so much more grown up and we've grown up with them. We get to see them face new problems with wisdoms of wiser, longer sober, people. I love where they still give you little one liners from their pasts. Reminds you have far they've come, as people, friends, wives, empty nesters, single women and moms. Great show. Sad to see it go. But we know they're going to make it. All of them. They've grown this much and we know they're going to make it. Just wish for another season, or the last episodes to show the ladies in the future. If it doesn't, I will trust the cast and writers to show us exactly what we need to make peace with the show ending. I mean we've been invested for 8 years haha!

A small touch of peaceful comfort

The marvel of this show keeps on showing. It shows so many aspects of life and how different but yet wonderful it can be, having a problem. The very way of how the comfort of the immature but experienced women, giving back to the peers who helped her get back on track is baffling. Absolutely stunningly written. Fabulous acting. Hopeful Ending.
