Host is inexperienced

I like the show. But the host Alexis leaves me wanting more. The guest develop an emotional connection very quickly and engage each other in a very authentic manner. The host however, seems to only be reading off the prompter asking pedestrian questionss. The guests thankfully chime in and add some valuable insights.

When Alexis's podcast cohost is one with her we lose these insights because her cohost seems to be trying to get the last word in. In my opinion she also seems to lack the journalistic and real life experience that the guests need. This comes across as a lack of empathy, but I feel it's just Alexis concentrating or being a bit nervous, so again lack of experience.

These topics are so traumatic that their lack of experience is a evident throughout the show.

If you've watched Evil Lives Here, the show is worth a watch, but manage your expectations. I'd prefer a format with a more experienced host or simply the guests interacting without a host.

Vilified looks like just an excuse for the wife to justify her character in a movie! Horribly put together. Not a true look at the whole story. Terrible host.

Painfully inexperienced

It's fairly evident the host is not an experienced journalist and is even more inexperienced as a host. She lacks insight, experience and feels as though she lacks empathy. She isn't needed and hinders the flow of the conversation if it were just the guests. Overall, it's very disappointing as it has great promise but a poor delivery and host.

WHAT A JOKE!

This is a spin off of the show Evil lives here or something like that which is nearly as bad. I watched s1 ep6 of Talking Evil where a mother marries a pedophile and stalks his own step daughter for years even after she gets married. I haven't seen such such naive and silly people in my life like this family. The daughter can't work out who is stalking her even though her diary goes missing over and over and she doesn't think of maybe adding a few lies in her diary so she can work out who uses that information to stalk her.. who would be stealing her diary but someone in the home.. but apparently she can't work it out even though she feels incredIbly creeped out by her step father. The mother is on Talking Evil and all she can talk about is herself and not what her daughter has been through. The family are apparently church goers but they seem to only care about themselves. Any parent would have made the entire thing about the child but not this mother who only worries and cries about what she went through. The show is incredibly amateurish and the host is not overly bright and doesn't ask any pertinent questions. I found both shows so boring.
