A strong episode in a weak season

Both the mini and maxi challenge were entertaining which was a welcome change from the norm this season.

The roast itself was decent but I was aware that it seemed a little edited to make some queens seem even funnier (as is the case with comedy challenges).

I found Utica quite funny but can see why Olivia was safe so I'm not mad.

I do however feel like they kept Kandy around with the undue double shantay because they knew there were challenges like this that she would excel in. I get it, because it makes for great tv, but it also does take away from the idea that this is a fair competition.

Finally a good episode!

After having a handful of awful episodes this season, this one right here is finally getting close to the standard drag race niveau we know and love. It's clear as day that the writing in this season is at the show's lowest state, that's why the best episodes are the ones where the queens have to come up with verses, routines and/or have to be funny (Phenomenon, Snatch game, Roast).

Great episode, it made me laugh a lot. If you don't agree with the winner, you're delusional and just love to hate. Kandy was hilarious and so were the other 3 queens that weren't in the bottom.

The mini-challenge, the workroom stuff and the lipsync was great too. Honestly, this episode gave me hope for the next season and the finale.

I haven't been the biggest fan of the season but this episode was highly entertaining even the queens that bombed the roast were entertaining to watch.

Honestly Utica roast was the best part, and not even for the good reasons I still don't know what the judges see in symone's lip syncs, she is just walking around and maybe move her arms, but i get that is únicas 3th bottom placement.

Color me shocked that the contestants this season put on a truly forgettable roast. This isn't a group that I would line up to see at a comedy club. Maybe production should have had a backup challenge in the wings after they realized this seasons queens can't perform a comedy set.

The devil works hard, but Drag Race producers with their preselected top 4 work harder.
