Larry's Love Triangle
JordanThomasHall10 November 2016
Dave (Joby Baker) and Larry (Ronnie Schell) walk into the radio station to find an attractive blonde lying on their couch. A surprised Station Manager Mr. Hutton (Billy De Wolfe) comes in to tell the boys that the sable-clad lady is his daughter Cecily (Lynda Day George of "Mission Impossible" fame). Larry is head-over-heels for the rich, classy young lady. His confusing relationship with Sandy (Goldie Hawn) is finally explained to some degree. Larry says they essentially have an understanding that when she is out of town they are free to see other people. But, it is pretty clear that the idea is only in the roving Larry's mind, as Sandy is much more committed to him. Larry makes and then breaks a date with Cecily but she shows up at his apartment anyway. Larry and Cecily fall in love and trouble ensues. The plot is engaging with funny and clever dialogue. The highlight is the comical scene with a drunk Mr. Hutton and Larry communicating with Cecily and later Sandy in Larry's apartment.
