This flashback episode picks the story up from "If You Marry Me Today, I'll Marry You Tomorrow" from two episodes prior. Newlyweds Dave (Joby Baker) and Linda (Julie Parrish) are setting up their home in Los Angeles. Dave is nervous at his first day at a new radio station and Larry (Ronnie Schell) tries to loosen him up. Mr. Hutton (Billy De Wolfe) decides to stand over them for their first show, which makes the pair unsettled. The pressure makes Dave lose his voice. His cranky, childlike new voice sends panic through the station as Larry desperately tries to cover for him. Now everyone schemes how to get Dave's voice back. Don Diamond who played "Crazy Cat" on the western comedy "F Troop" plays a moving man. The episode is written by series creators Bill Perskey and Sam Denoff.
