A very nice little drama short film. It affected me profoundly and shockingly because the main actors portraying Henry(Nate Richert) and Hank(Owen Beckman) looked exactly like my friend and his younger brother. My buds could pass for these 2 actors exactly how these two looked in the film! The physical resemblance is uncanny! I could not believe it.

Well back to this little hidden gem of a short film. It was very nicely paced and filmed.I would have had no problem watching a full feature version of this short and it's theme. I enjoyed how with each shot of the ball they were transported to a different time and place and towards the end of the game , they came back to reality and back to the prison.

It's almost ironic that Henry and Hank are almost the same person. I mean it's Henry's last day but Hank's 1st. So in a way you figure Henry is Hank as when he came in also with a basketball! So when Hank gets out he is exactly like Henry and vice- a -versa.The ending confirms it because when Henry gets out, he is walking in the exact same highway dressed exactly like Hank (with a basketball no less!) where Hank was picked up the police! Nice psychological twist. I can't wait to show this short to my friend and his brother. They are gonna flip out in how they look so much like Henry and Hank and vice versa!

I interpreted it as Hank literally being Henry when he was first sent to prison. I think he had to leave his basketball with his possessions and when he was leaving, his possessions were returned. At the end, someone calls out, "Hank? Hank? Henry?" I think Henry is able to reconnect with the person he was when he entered prison because he's leaving and therefore doesn't need the same level of self-protection anymore.
