Maura is given a wake up call by her old flame, and just when she thinks that her life is spiralling out of control, she is called upon to help Mickey with a bloody task.
It's an excellent third episode, if I'm honest, I think this series is getting better as it's progressing, the characters are so big, so charismatic, the family unit and dynamic is fascinating.
Once again, the visuals are tremendous, it looks incredible, amazing production values, and appropriate atmospheric music.
Lynch looks astonishing in that red dress, an amazing actress, but here she'd visually dazzling, her casting was first rate. She really has become the person in this show that you watch, she's always been a terrific actress.
Johnny, fans of The Bill will recognise him, René Zagger, a good actor, more than just a good looking guy.
