I loved Extreme Cheapskates, so when I saw this on Discovery+ I immediately had to watch it! I honestly thought it was great the entire time, it had just the right amount of cringe to keep me hooked. I honestly thought some of it was believable until I decided to look for these people on Facebook... That's when I realized it's not even them being cheap and just amping it up for the cameras; I'm pretty sure Brittney and Shane aren't even married. I somehow found Brittney's grandmother's Facebook, and Ashley wasn't even married in the rat pee pawn shop dress! She wore a strapless dress and was at a nice venue for her big day. The biggest drawback of this show for me was that the network could've picked actual cheapskates having some kind of big event or big purchase to take their spot. The fake stuff needs to go; that's not what reality tv should be. Shame on y'all.
I should also add that I hated that Becky refused to learn what a load-bearing wall was. Now people all over are gonna try to rip out walls in their homes and destroy them. Y'all could have educated her and filmed it????
Additionally, Angela is INSANE for letting a man tell her what she can and cannot do with her own money. He doesn't seem like he pulls his weight, and he's constantly embarrassing you, so why are you even with this bum??
