My son is enjoying the episodes so far, he is 5 yrs old. Dont be too harsh on criticising. The acting can't be anymore bland coz it's a HALLOWEEN KIDS SHOW = SIMPLY IRRATIONAL and SENSELESS, but continue watching it as the story gets witty and engaging.

An enjoyable family-oriented Netflix series

I randomly stumbled upon this Netflix series a month or two ago. I would describe it as a combination fantasy, magic and adventure with young pre-teen girls as the lead characters. It has elements of Sabrina The Teenage Witch and Harry Potter but it's less dark and more fun, light and entertaining. Plus the "evil witches" are more akin to The Witches of Eastwick or The Wizard of Oz. The target audience is mostly for young children and pre-teens but I feel teenagers and adults could also enjoy this show as well. It's a very easy show to watch and each episode is around the 20-25 minute mark. Hopefully they end up making a second season of it.

How many more BC is this Robert (Crapert) Vince going to produce with animal characters being the "boss of the world" among the human characters?? We aren't meant to be dumb enough to be at the will of animals!! I'm willing to wager that it's successor Super Pupz for next year in 2022 is going to be even worse if I ever see just one episode of that show!

I love Halloween, but can't find many shows which aren't gruesome. Great show for cat lovers. The acting could be better, because this is not exclusively a kid's show. I am very disappointed however that the cats are not listed in the cast. Why? There are numerous feline actors in this show. I hope there's a season 2, and the cats get some credit.

This is literally one of the worst shows I've ever seen, horrible acting, it's like everyone either was just reading their lines or they were way overacting. The special effects are also horrid, the only good thing is the story is interesting, the sets were pretty neat. My 5 year old likes it only because there's cats in it. The cringe level in this show is 100, don't believe the positive reviews, they're obviously friends family of the people on the show. Rosemary Dunsmuir is the only good actor, it's a shame she wasted her talents on this show. This is good for little kids, that's about it!!

I don't agree that this is only for younger audiences. Perhaps it depends on what interests you, I have interests in the supernatural, so for me it's cool. The bad witches are about the only cringe for me, the rest is great. I will definitely be watching this to the end and if a new season pops up, count me into that as well.

We chose to watch this movie because it looked like girls turned into cats.
My daughter loves cats.
Luckily she wasn't afraid of the witch parts. Normally she doesn't like anything scary. But She really loves this show, and thinks it's funny and interesting.
Does anyone know who is the actress who plays Willow Ward, the main character's mother?
She looks very familiar, but her name isn't listed on IMDB It's kind of corny as an adult, but kids will love it!

This was so fun I watched 9 episodes straight with my 18 year old brother honestly in opinion it is fun but I don't think suitable 6- and less it should be 7+ because 5 year old won't really understand or 6 I suggest 7+(I watched on Netflix it was rated all)

I put this on for my kids to watch and I got hooked too!! Love this show and the storyline. I can't wait for a season 2 and a Halloween release for 22 would be awesome. I rarely review shows but i had to for this one.

Scaredy Cats is a fun and amazing show that I highly recommend watching.
The episodes are mysterious and just amazing and I hope they make a season two.
The story is really fun and it's a great "almost Halloween" series to watch.
It's also funny, and the scene where it started raining chocolate was really cool!
I strongly recommend this to anyone who likes talking animals, Halloween, or witches.

This is actually well written enough to enjoy as adult!

It's not brilliant but it's entertaining and actually really funny. Kind of like how old school muppet movies were or the older Disney movies when they were in their prime. So that's nice to see since a lot of the kids entertainment is so stupidly written I doubt even kids would like it lol so I'm glad we can all enjoy something good and light hearted. Also aesthetic sets too!

This is super cute and goofy. Not always interesting for adults, but it's not written for adults. Too many TV shows are written for adults (e.g., violence and inappropriate jokes), and get a rating for younger kids that's inappropriate. In contrast, this show is entirely appropriate for children, and my 7-year old loved the series, which says everything that needs to be said.

It's a cute series and I realize the characterizations are supposed to be very broad, but yet another kids' series that portrays the father as an incompetent, ineffectual clown is so very tired. It seems like it would take very little imagination to have enjoyable kids series that portray parents respectfully.
In my 30s- adored this cute mini-series!

Super cute. I'm a fan of spooky more so than super scary, even as an adult. (But enjoy sci-fi thrillers at the same time) I will for sure rewatch this next Halloween. It was definitely cheesy- always is with live action animals that talk and move their mouths- but enjoyable. The dad, the owner of the Broom Emporium, the teacher, Winnefred, and Snout were probably my most favorite characters. Oh and the W alliteration of names was kind of fun! I enjoyed many of the magical props too.. oh the glasses! Who needs a cloak of invisibility, I want the glasses!!!! Hmm- review too short? That's new. Maybe I've usually written longer.

Entertaing fun and magical i first watched it in 2021 this definitely for fans of pup academy in this story a girl inherits a necklacs from her mother that leads her to some witches that want to steal it from her the main actor is also Karen brewer in the babysitters club (2020-2021) it is worth it to watch this Netflix does such a good job with this you should also watch phantom pups and pup academy she has some friends and in the end her mother comes out from the necklace and everyone's happy the girls can also turn into cats airbud produces really good shows everyone should atleast watch a few of them.
