Cartoons can often be fun and a great way to past the time. I am a fan of some but the story has to be great. I have never watched or read anything based on this Jules Verne classic and had only heard the name Capt. Nemo because of its popularity. I feel that perhaps this could be an amazing story, but this cartoon barely told a story.

A weird ship, believed to be a sea creature is destroying ships, so a scientist gathers a crew to investigate. He is captured and taken below to a submarine, something never heard of at the time. The ships captain, Nemo tells them he plans on destroying all things that destroy the ocean and pollute it. Hmmm... okay I needed a bit more.

The animation by Hanna and Barbera was nice and very similar to their work on the Scooby Doo cartoon's. I liked the cool music and it was creepy on a cartoon level.

Not sure any kid would enjoy, and not interesting enough for an adult, maybe thats why its not popular. No one has reviewed or rated it here...so I gave it 2 out of 10 stars simply because it was 44 minutes and didn't give much of an explanation and went by really quick.
