For a group of NASA assistance in the misogynistic 1950's, they are stunned when their computer, given the name of everybody in the United States (or possibly the world) tries to determine what person is the most qualified to be sent into outer space, and they are more than stunned when the answer turns out to be Joan Davis, or Joan of Arkansas as she is known. She is a nurse to a dentist, making a mistake with a patient when she puts cement in his mouth instead of wax to take an x-ray. Imagine her surprise when John Emery shows up and tells her that she is to be sent to the moon. A silly premise for a pilot that never went anywhere, it's not surprising that this didn't go anywhere. Lee Patrick, who had been appearing as Topper's wife, co-stars as Emory's imperious assistant. In typical Joan Davis fashion, she goes through a bunch of wacky exercises in preparation for this journey, some of which are pretty painful. At least the audience was spared any more of her adventures, but sadly, it was her last acting role.
