Having just nabbed a drug deal, Merseyside's Detective Inspector Colette Cunningham receives a call from Dublin, where the voice explains that a woman, who listed Colette as her next of kin, has been found dead.
I've heard lots of good things about Redemption, I hate to say, but my first impression is a little bit mixed, I'm pretty sure it's the storyline itself, I'm finding it just a little challenging to get into, I could hardly say I felt immersed, but I am certain it will open up.
The friction between Connolly and Colette was interesting, she clearly didn't want The Brit to be absorbed into her team, I am obviously that relationship will be explored further in the series.
No issues with any of the acting, Paula Malcomson was very strong as the leading character, Siobhan McSweeney is always great value too.
7/10.
