Good episode, but felt like Deja vu

This was a good episode but I had to double check IDMB just to make sure this wasn't an old episode. It felt like an identical episode I've seen before. Down to the old zoo swampy warehouse like building.

Maybe it was Hawaii 5-0 reboot show that did the same thing. But the whole time....the show was like deja vu.

I have been a lifelong Hawaii CBS fan ever since the greatness that is Hawaii 5-0 premiered. When Steve McGarrett decided he was through(whether forced, cancelled, or ended amicably) I thought my obsession with the beautiful views and culture of the Hawaiian tv universe was over. When this show began I was skeptical, but as the episodes have gone on, they have gotten better and better. This episode was the climax for me personally, when I found that same niche that the 5-0 family provided. This episode(and all of them from this season) brought things back into focus for me. I was truly on the edge of my seat, and appreciated the acting even thorough the cheesiness from the supporting cast. BEST EPISODE YET, AND HOPEFULLY MORE GOLD TO COME.

dark and emotional

The fact the yakuza planned to kill magnum, and to make the whole episode about what magnum means for higgins and his friends was enough dark, and emotional.

This was a episode with no car chases,but alot of detective work.

Was one of the best. Not only the whole magnum-higgins relationship was tested(higgins going all the miles to save magnum, using all her skills)and saved for a ending that was not only funny, but also emotional.

The song at the end between the teams fight and the whole''magnum is alive and back'' works great to me.love when the episodes are more about the characters and the humanity.
