Like a fair number of Home and Away episodes, this manages to be hugely enjoyable despite not a lot happening, with even Penn being bearable. Bristling with great character interaction and nice moments, we see Nicole and Ruby's friendship getting a good outing along with a nice little scene with Charlie.Xavier and April get some good material together, Gina seems to be shaping up to being a decent likable character at last and there's some nice stuff between Xavier and John. There is absolutely nothing wrong with episodes like this and the show needs more of them.
Plotwise, Leah and Miles make what are probably sensible decisions to report Penn to the police, even though it doesn't seem to get them very far.And Marilyn breaks up with Sid, which is a shame but not really heartbreaking.And probably isn't going to be permanent.Mitzy continues to be a somewhat ambiguous character, someone who doesn't seem to want to cause trouble but does anyway.
