I had seen The Royal Variety Performance three times before, and I knew this fourth one I had seen had some good acts in the line-up, all performing this time in front of Prince Charles and wife Camilla Parker-Bowles. Hosted by comedian Michael McIntyre, performances and appearances in the show came from: singer Kylie Minogue performing "Better Than Today", singers The Kinks' Ray Davies and Paloma Faith, Britain's Got Talent winners - gymnastic display group Spelbound, comedian Lee Mack, singer Adele performing "Rolling in the Deep", Michael Crawford and Danielle Hope with the cast of The Wizard of Oz, hip hop group N-Dubz performing "Say It's Over", tenor singer Russell Watson performing alongside ballet dancers, comedian Sarah Millican, soprano singer and Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle performing "Perfect Day", comedian Jack Whitehall, singer Cheryl Cole performing "The Flood", The Chelsea Pensioners, acrobat and ice skater Daniel Whiston performing to Des'ree's "Kissing You", comedian Micky Flanagan, the cast of Les Misérables performing for the show's 25th anniversary including Alfie Boe, pianist Jamie Cullum with singer Rumor performing "Tiny Dancer", comedian John Bishop, fully reformed boy band Take That performing "The Flood" and "SOS" and many more, with voice-over by Tom Baker. Very good!
