This was the first clip show in the series run and it is also one of the banned episodes of the show. Why was it banned? Something inappropriate for younger viewers? Too soon for some disaster? No, this episode was never aired because it had less than a minute of new animation and it was completely pointless in the long run. Still, as a huge fan of "Pokémon" I have to review every episode or at least ones that I can get my hands on. This is mostly all clips from previous episodes.
I remember going to TVTropes and them saying how this episode was banned with the phrase, "Seriously, who wants to see a pokemon clip show?". They're completely right. I mean, there's nothing really terrible about this. It doesn't distract from the story or anything. There's just absolutely no reason at all for it to exist. Why did they make this? In an anime with nearly a thousand episodes, you can have ones with a plot. *1/2
