Profondo Rosso: From Celluloid to Shop (2011)

*** (out of 4)

Director Luigi Cozzi discusses his "other" job, which is the owner of Profondo Rosso, which is a store in Italy that he opened with Dario Argento. The store sells various horror and science-fiction items but in the basement is where you'll find a museum and this is where the great stuff is. Cozzi discusses how the store came to be and then takes us on a tour of the museum. Fans of the genre will certainly enjoy this featurette and especially since a lot of the people watching it might not be able to actually make it over to Italy to visit the location. We get some nice information on the store but there's no question that the highlight is the tour where we see items from various Argento movies as well as some other Italian films.
