Basic Brown Basic Blue is a dry humorous live-action short from the father of "The Simpsons" creator

Just watched this obscure live-action short by one Homer Groening on the Cartoon Brew site as linked from the Internet Archive. And yes, he's the father of "The Simpsons" creator Matt Groening. Anyway, this Homer sounds nothing like his namesake on the long running animated series when he tells of both brown and blue scenery when discussing either the Grand Canyon or the Florida Keys or the Pacific Ocean. His remarks are pretty dry whether mentioning chocolate pudding during scenes of tractors racing through mud or a blue movie when bikinied women are shown on screen. He also mentions a Humphrey Bogart impersonation when a fish with an expression similar to his is shown. All I'll say now is this is worth a look if you're curious about the links to Matt Groening's family's sense of humor.
