Decent, light-hearted Spin-Off
MaskTasker1 August 2022
Zero's Tea Time is a decent, light-hearted spin-off. We see Bourbon/Amuro/Rei in more or less everyday situations like teaching a small child to ride a bicycle or working in the Poirot café. Then there are meetings with Vermouth and his police work where he mainly chases criminals. There is no red thread and that is quite alright for the concept of the series. At just under 1.5 hours, the series isn't too long either, which is good, because the concept probably wouldn't have worked out so well with more episodes or would have become boring and felt stretched. If you like Detective Conan, you will certainly enjoy this for an afternoon.

Entertaining spin-off of the Detective Conan series
Mysterygeneration14 January 2024
This is a brief but entertaining spin-off of the Detective Conan series that follows the everyday adventures of Amuro Tooru, a key character in the main series. He's a guy who can do anything and is generally amazing, but he's also a lot-faced individual who undoubtedly has something to do with his work here, so we should probably skip it. Naturally, no. Why not? To put it another way, this is a fun and simple novel to follow. What I find appealing is that it contains humorous and endearing content.

The animation is really well done, and the soundtrack is pleasant and appropriate. In general, I would suggest this miniseries to anyone who like the main series and finds Furuya's character endearing-I'm still not sure why I adore him so much). Most likely as a result of his complexity.

Skip..... plain & vanilla

Not nearly as good as the detective conan's main lead series. It doesnt have that magic like the usual one. Odd intro and i feel like zero was kinda uninteresting, plain and boring. Unlike conan, he doesnt have a very strong background story, although she does look professional but not in the same league as conan. Short limited series, thank god for that. Found myself doozing halfway of the series. Just simple old plain sound scores and the animation style doesnt seem to be improved from detective conan series. Whats the point of having this side story/sequel? Voice casting were terribly boring. Not for me.

Good plot and good animation that is enjoyed to see, interesting story we must not forget that it is a spin off of detective Conan therefore it is a good idea to see the movie where the protagonist of the story appears.

A simple serie far of "Detective Conan"

Warning: Spoilers
The series handles a much simpler and shorter plot making it much easier to digest, handling stories that one can feel familiar with.

Personally, I didn't expect much from this, but I was really surprised, it doesn't stand out too much compared to "Detective Conan". Ideal if you want to watch an episode from time to time and relax for 15 minutes. Hopefully they will bring out new stories that will happen in this same universe and cover new narratives away from the atmosphere of mystery.

Recommended for any audience regardless of whether they have seen "Detective Conan" or not..............................................
