UK viewers tuning in hoping to see Travis Scott perform this weekend on Saturday Night Live were left disappointed when the rap star’s two performances were removed from the show’s broadcast.
Saturday Night Live doesn’t air live across the pond. Instead, it airs Sunday nights on Britain’s Sky Comedy channel.
While Sky Comedy typically carries the 90 minute show in its entirety, Sunday’s broadcast ran nine minutes short, with Travis Scott’s performances of of “My Eyes” and “Fe!n” from his Grammy-nominated fourth studio album, “Utopia” missing.
Both performances (as well as Scott’s guest appearance in the Please Don’t Destroy short “We Got Too High”) are still available to stream on YouTube in the UK.
It wasn’t immediately clear why Scott’s segments were excised from the broadcast, although international music licensing costs seem most likely to blame (even though larger musical acts...

Fallout is the most exciting Amazon Original dropping this month. From Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, this long-awaited adaptation of the popular video game franchise looks incredible, and is bound to be a hit among video game fans and newcomers alike. The series stars Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets), Walton Goggins (The Righteous Gemstones), and Aaron Clifton Moten (Disjointed).
Prime Video doesn’t have much else in the way of original offerings this month, aside from the return of Alex Rider on Freevee a few other films and TV series, but there are plenty of popular films joining the streaming service’s library. Cloverfield, Batman & Robin, Titanic, and The Notebook are just a few of the notable movies coming to Prime this month.
Here’s everything coming to Prime Video and Freevee in April – Amazon originals are designated with an asterisk.

Ramy Youssef may not be a household name, but his self-titled comedy series "Ramy" on Hulu landed him Emmy nominations for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, not to mention a Peabody Award in 2020. So, he's got the right amount of experience and accolades to be called up to host "Saturday Night Live." Furthermore, Youssef is an established stand-up comedian, joining the likes of Nate Bargatze and Shane Gillis as hosts this season. But how did he handle the live sketch comedy of "SNL" in his hosting debut?
Well, Ramy Youssef doesn't seem to have much versatility when it comes to providing a variety of characters, and "SNL" leaned back on familiar formulas like talk shows and game shows, though they still delivered some hearty laughs. But there were also some amusing, peculiar sketches in this episode, and of course, big laughs...

The comedy trio Please Don’t Destroy found themselves in a place no one ever wants to be on a Saturday night: way, way too high in the middle of a crowded nightclub with Travis Scott.
During this weekend’s Saturday Night Live, Please Don’t Destroy aka Ben Marshall, John Higgins and Martin Herlihy went on a joyride to a function with musical guest Scott. They smoked blunt after blunt in a party bus while rapping about their upcoming night of debauchery. But as soon as they roll up to the club, a celebratory Scott looks over to find the group in a bad,...

Houston rapper Travis Scott returned to Saturday Night Live as musical guest with a pair of tracks from Utopia, his Grammy-nominated album that came out last July. Scott opened with the album’s fourth entry, “My Eyes.”
Scott’s second performance was of “Fe!n,” alongside Playboi Carti. Earlier in the day, that single’s music video was released on Scott’s YouTube channel.
The rapper also appeared in the episode’s Please Don’t Destroy sketch about having a “twisted, rockin’ ball” and getting too high:

This is their big screen debut, following a series of comedy sketches that lead to them becoming regular contributors to Saturday Night Live in the US. As such, it’s something of a hit-and-miss affair, but the hits are just about good enough to make it worth your while.

Judd Apatow does not believe comedy movies are dead in theaters. While the genre has largely moved to streaming in recent years, Apatow recently told Vulture that all it will take is one comedy blockbuster in theaters to swing the pendulum away from streaming. Actually, that may have already happened in his eyes.
“I would say that’s wrong because the highest-grossing comedy last year made over a billion dollars,” Apatow said when asked about movie theaters no longer being a venue for comedy movies. “‘Barbie’ was a comedy, you know?”
“But isn’t that like saying a Marvel movie is a comedy?” Vulture asked.
“I don’t think so. It’s not a drama,” Apatow responded. “There are some emotional moments in it, but it’s just wall-to-wall jokes. There’s something about it where I feel like no one wants to give comedy the win there. Like, why...

Three years ago, when Conan O’Brien retired from late-night, it was a very different world. Max was known as HBO Max. TBS was still releasing original series. David Zaslav had just been announced as the CEO of what would become Warner Bros. Discovery. Change was in the air, and now many, many changes have happened.
But Conan remains a constant. Before “Conan” (the late-night series on TBS) welcomed its last guests, its host had already launched a wildly successful podcast, “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend.” He soon sold his booming digital media business to SiriusXM for $150 million, produced stand-up specials (“Chris Redd: Why Am I Like This?” and “Gary Gulman: Born on Third Base”) and podcast series (from Rob Lowe and Andy Richter), and acted in everything from “Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain” and “Murderville” to “Weird: The Al Yankovic Story” and “Marcel the Shell With Shoes On.

Exclusive: Clint Eastwood’s Juror No. 2 at Warner Bros. has rounded its cast with Amy Aquino, Adrienne C. Moore, Cedric Yarbrough, Chikako Fukuyama and Onix Serrano.
The movie follows Justin Kemp, played by Nicholas Hoult, who while serving as a juror in a high-profile murder trial, finds himself struggling with a serious moral dilemma — one he could use to sway the jury verdict and potentially convict–or free–the wrong killer. Eastwood is producing under his Malpaso banner in addition to directing off of Jonathan Abrams’ screenplay. The pic is currently shooting in Georgia.
Also part of the ensemble are Toni Collette (prosecutor), Gabriel Basso (accused), Zoey Deutch (Kemp’s wife), Leslie Bibb (juror), Chris Messina (public defender), and Kiefer Sutherland (Kemp’s AA sponsor).
Also producing for Malpaso are Tim Moore and Jessica Meier, and Dichotomy’s Adam Goodman & Matt Skiena. EPs are Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Jeremy Bell and David M. Bernstein.

As such, it’s something of a hit-and-miss affair, but the hits are just about good enough to make it worth your while.

Lena Dunham and her husband Luis Felber have co-created a romantic comedy series titled “Too Much” for Netflix. Megan Stalter and Will Sharpe are set to star.
“Too Much” follows Jessica (Stalter), a New York workaholic in her mid-30s who is reeling from a broken relationship that she thought would last forever and slowly isolating everyone she knows. When every block in New York tells a story of her own bad behavior, the only solution is to take a job in London, where she plans to live a life of solitude like a Brontë sister. But when she meets Felix (Sharpe) — who is less Hugh Grant in “Notting Hill” and more Hugh Grant’s drunken roommate — she finds that their unusual connection is impossible to ignore, even as it creates more problems than it solves. Now they have to ask themselves: Do Americans and Brits actually speak the same language?...

This post contains spoilers for "Please Don't Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain."
The comedy trio known as Please Don't Destroy has been making a splash at "Saturday Night Live" for the past couple years. Creating fast-paced, absurd, pre-recorded sketches starring themselves, as well as being part of the writing staff, the trio has made a quite name for themselves. Last weekend, their first movie debuted on Peacock, "Please Don't Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain," and it's the kind of comedy that we wish could have been given a theatrical release in order to have that communal experience of laughing out loud with a crowd. But at least it's getting a chance to find an audience. Plus, director Paul Briganti is used to people watching his stuff at home anyway.
Briganti worked at "SNL" for six years before departing the series late in 2021, just as Please Don't Destroy had joined the series.

The Saturday Night Live trio’s first feature comedy is a mediocre, misfiring sketch that’s 90 minutes too long
Like The Lonely Island and Pete Davidson before them, Please Don’t Destroy, the trio of NYU-bred comedians known for their Saturday Night Live digital shorts, are spinning off from the variety show into their own feature film. It’s a trend of diminishing returns. Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain, their feature comedy debut, was originally slated to premiere in theaters before it got dumped on Peacock, and for good reason. I imagine most people involved don’t want viewers to notice. As comedy writers and movie actors, the members of Please Don’t Destroy – Martin Herlihy, John Higgins and Ben Marshall – are out of their depth.
That’s not a knock on their brand of comedy, which works in small doses. I’ve been a fan of some of their sketches,...

Please Don’t Destroy, the comedy troupe comprising NYU alums Ben Marshall, John Higgins, and Martin Herlihy, broke through the haze of hopeful comedians with quick-hitting sketches on social media. Soon after their speedy Internet fame, the three writers joined Saturday Night Live to produce more short videos, this time for a show that had already employed two of their fathers. The group weaves together a mixture of Gen Z and Millennial charm, striving for weirdness just as much as witty comedy. Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain serves as the trio’s first foray into film, the three leading and sharing co-writing credits––an apt reminder that some jokes shouldn’t run for 90 minutes.
The Treasure of Foggy Mountain begins with Marshall, Higgins, and Herlihy playing versions of themselves, albeit much less successful, as three roommates all working for a Bass Pro Shops-esque establishment. Like their skits,...

If you’re wondering about the ungainly title of the new comedy film premiering on Peacock, then you’re probably not a sketch comedy aficionado or regular Saturday Night Live viewer. The first part of Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain refers to the comedy group consisting of 20-somethings Ben Marshall, John Higgins and Martin Herlihy, whose absurdist videos have been a regular feature on SNL for the past couple of years. The second part of the title calls to mind the sort of old-fashioned adventure movies geared toward kids that have inspired this ramshackle spoof reminding you that sketch comedy is best appreciated in small doses. For proof, look no further than such misfires as Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy, It’s Pat, MacGruber and, well, you get the idea.

“Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure Of Foggy Mountain” premieres on Peacock, November 17 this weekend. The feature-length debut effort of the eponymous comedy team Please Don’t Destroy, the trio who are currently the “Saturday Night Live” Digital Shorts creator, the film is a hilarious absurdist treat. And it is perhaps the most wacky, out-there, and oddball film the movie’s producer, Judd Apatow, has ever produced.

The end of the actors strike is the talk of the town, and late night is no exception.
“Thank you for joining us on ‘take your actor back to work day’ here in Hollywood,” Jimmy Kimmel said during his opening monologue. “Where most of the movie and TV business has been at a stop, a standstill, since May.”
He continued: “Writers’ Strike started in May. But at long last, the actor’s strike is finally over. A lot of people were affected. The Hallmark Channel immediately started shooting all 1,200 of its Christmas movies this morning. One member of the negotiating committee said that there were ‘tears of exhilaration and joy’ in the room after the deal was approved, and it only took them a few takes. It was very realistic.”
Jokes aside, Kimmel concluded: “Finally, actors can get back to their real jobs…which is…playing people with real jobs.

The comedy team known as Please Don't Destroy from recent seasons of "Saturday Night Live" have made quite a splash on the late night sketch comedy show. Acting as what is basically the newest equivalent of The Lonely Island, the trio comprised of Martin Herlihy, John Higgins, and Ben Marshall delivers hilarious pre-recorded sketches, and they're also part of the writing staff. Now, like many "SNL" cohorts before them, Please Don't Destroy is releasing their first movie, and the first trailer has arrived.
Originally intended for theaters, "Please Don't Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain" is coming to Peacock in November instead, probably because the title wouldn't fit on most marquees. But in all seriousness, don't let its streaming destination make you think this movie isn't worth your time. Zany comedy is alive and well, thanks to Paul Briganti’s Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain.
