This is a good episode and in isolation the emotion and impact of the story does leave an impression. The choice Ruka had to make was significant, her preferred sexuality and affection for Okabe for the life of Mayuri. The only issue is this is the odd episode in the set of four dealing with reversing the time lines. After dealing with Suzuha suicide, the loss of Faris father, the death of Mayuri and the murder of Kurisu, worrying about Ruka's sexual preference seemed anti-climactic. If this was the first of the four time-line reversal episodes which disclosed the solution to Mayuri's death, this episode would have had significant impact. You would then follow up with the time-reversals which saved the life or loss the life of someone. Good episode, but it is most certainly the odd one of the series, or at least is in the wrong position of the four time-line reversal epiosdes.
