Okabe's situation is as dire as you can imagine. What I like about this episode is how Okabe follows a course of action which is totally credible. He hiding the situation from his friends, while annoying this is very credible. The earlier blabbing possibly assisted the creation of this life and death situation. He then panics and run's around like a lunatic trying to change the time line, without thinking. After this does not work he then started to use his brain a bit more, but it also does not work. He seems to be trapped in a nightmare with no end. Very tense and engaging episode.

Mystery into a thriller

Now this show has been a great mysterious mystery throughout. But now, it feels like Steins;Gate is spicing on some thrill too. This episode is much different from every other episode so far where the characters are still putting the pieces together, but now the pace has picked up and things are REALLY happening! So go grab that blanket!
Little bit predictable
