Fukushima still doesn't have any power, the brave volunteers try to open the valves manually.
I had a lump in my throat for most of this episode, that scene where the two men bravely try and battle their way through, with that radiation of the scale, it took me right back to those harrowing scenes in Chernobyl.
This one was genuinely harrowing at times, and I fear it's going to get a lot worse as time goes on, there is more to come.
I purposely didn't want to make comparisons between this and Chernobyl, but it's hard not to.
I am genuinely struck by the sheer quality of the acting, superb performances, it's a terrific production, one Netflix should be very proud of.
8/10.
