Benefit of the Doubt

Warning: Spoilers
A pretty good episode here that almost felt like it needed another hour or two. The old cop in their old ways is something that should have played out over the course of a few weeks before his behavior backfired and cost them the case.

I liked this format a little bit better tonight. Usually it is just one half hour of police and one half hour of legal issues, but this was done as a mix.

Decent enough case and an entertaining episode, but so far in Season 22 I have not been blown away by any episodes yet. Still hoping we at least get one particularly enthralling or exciting episode at some point this year.

Really the Episode Not the Best There

Warning: Spoilers
Well the show and in the revamping of the show. Should had in the not being in a sense that, over in the remade. SVU has the record over in the longest running show there.

It lacks over in the ripped from the headlines thing the original series did. But still glad that McCoy has mellowed out from a jerk to a father figure. Miss Anthony Anderson however as he can do both comedy and drama there, very much an actor that could do both.

As an tell all book author is murdered and Frank tries to get his mentor over in the case but his mentor has his own ideals that ruins both of their friendship and relationship there. Had his mentor stuck with the case regardless of the tough decisions and not popular ones to be clear.

Price is a smart lawyer but also he is a great human being. Unlike McCoy in the first few seasons there or so.

The end and the means

Warning: Spoilers
I really want to like the "reboot" of Law and Order, but somehow this episode from season 22, Benefit of the Doubt, was something that I don't know, really made you wonder what the writers were trying to convey, that the end justifies the means or what.

Anyway, the corruption portrayed seemed way to neat, and the only thing missing was the glove if you know what I mean. Still, maybe things will get better as we continue with season 22.

Connie Shi plays Detective Violet Yee, Walter Turney plays Mateo, Bridget Kim plays Stef and Laura Patinkin plays M. E. Alicia Stark (I'm not sure if Laura's related to Mandy).
