Desperate Measures - but why ?

Warning: Spoilers
Summer finale was truly outstanding!! So first Anson had been the antagonist for the whole shadow spy network , what happened to his "Management" Friend ? It sure seems like Tom Card is a puppet ,he doesn't appeal to be the one pulling the strings, damn isn't there anyone you can trust in Burn Notice?Story so far has been pretty intricate and has a good script ,it seems to run along the lines of Prison Break . Extremely curious to know what the episodes unfold this November , hoping that they have a good angle to the events so far. Great Direction indeed, though Michael Western's Character seems more of the aggressive and desperate type this season , relative to the other 5 this season has very less of the whole Former Spy aiding desperate people.

Becoming weary of serialization
rrjmdpa2 September 2012
Actually this episode wasn't really any worse than all the rest this season (which I rated higher) but I gave it a seven this time because even though the directing and acting are just as good, I'm becoming weary of the whole premise of the show changing every time I turn on the TV. I know that USA network is mandating that all their shows back off on the episodic nature and become more serialized; but, messing with the shows basic structure might have been fun for a few episodes (and it was definitely time for Anson to go) but now you almost don't know what you're going to see when you turn it on. To me, it's becoming very self-centered and convoluted.
