- In one scene, a man is run over by a lorry.
- We see the wheels moving over his body and then we see his bloodied body as he lies in the road.
- Later in hospital, his body is covered with a sheet but we still see blood on his face.
- In another scene, a man pours petrol over himself and sets himself on fire.
- He runs around until others put the flames out and we see his charred face as he talks.
- Towards the end of the film, a character is shot from behind with a small blood spurt, as is another character who has large bloodstains on his clothes.
- There is also a scene in which a policeman spits some blood from an implied blow and we see other policemen lying dead or unconscious in the street with bloodied faces and hands.
