Recently, The Kardashians star, Kylie Jenner, gave fans a big shock after posting a photo. She has altered her face in the photo so much that she appears to be wearing a mask. Many fans don’t think she even looks like herself anymore.
Kylie Jenner’s Appearance Is Changing Again
Undoubtedly, The Kardashians stars always change one thing or another about their appearances. However, some alterations are more drastic than others. While Kylie Jenner has been dropping weight over the past few months, her face is showing what fans are speculating is another facial surgery. Earlier this year, some fans were quick to point out her chin was noticeably different, believing it was a botched chin implant to blame. But now, with her latest pictures, it seems she is jumping back under the knife. Notably, all the updates were finished before the big premiere of The Kardashians Season 5 later this week.

The 2024 Indonesian movie on Netflix called Monster revolves around two schoolchildren named Alana and Rabin who get abducted by a man named Jack. Jack feels like the real monster in the story, as it becomes clear he has done this before. But he is not alone; his wife, Murni, is also involved in these abductions. The film has no dialogue as such. And honestly, there is no need, as the atmosphere of terror with panting and screaming is enough to fill the void. Despite the horrifying situation, Alana and Rabin show incredible courage to escape. Their struggle to survive from the monsters becomes more intense and involves killing to survive. The movie does not have many characters, only four main ones: Alana, Rabin, Jack, and Murni. So let’s look at the cast and characters of Monster, directed by Rako Prijanto.

The Wolf Man remains one of the horror genre's most iconic movie monsters and in 2017, there were plans for him to take centre stage in Universal's ill-fated "Dark Universe."
The idea of an McU-inspired shared world featuring these creatures crumbled when The Mummy bombed, leaving the studio with no other choice than to part ways with Hollywood heavyweights like Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp, Russell Crowe, and Javier Bardem.
There's been some chatter about Universal attempting to revive its Dark Universe, but filmmaker Leigh Whannell's Wolf Man won't be part of them.
"As an outsider, I would say that The Mummy's Dark Universe, in my humble opinion, felt like it was reactive to what was going on with all the superhero stuff - the MCU and DC universe," producer Ken Kao tells Screen Rant (via FearHQ.com). "And we know there's been a lot of talk about what...

Damon would move to Italy and star in films like The Reluctant Saint (1962), The Young Racers (1963), The Shortest Day (1963), Black Sabbath (1963), 100 Horseman (1964), Secret Agent 777 (1965), Dio, Come Ti Amo! (1966) and Johnny Oro (1966).

Roger Corman, the pioneering producer and director, known affectionately as “the king of B movies,” passed away on May 9 at his home in Santa Monica, California. Corman had as much influence over modern Hollywood as Steven Spielberg or Martin Scorsese. And for good reason: Without him there likely wouldn’t even have been a Spielberg or Scorsese.
This maker of hundreds of low-budget horror, sci-fi, and exploitation films is to this day remembered by many, and rather unfairly, as a B-movie hack, but Corman’s aesthetic sensibilities have come to dominate the franchises we now call tent poles, and his protégés number among the most influential people in cinema. And he enjoyed every minute of it.
Corman came off as very humble, resembling no one so much as Mr. Rogers. He laughed at himself and his experiences frequently. Many of the movies that he made were ridiculous but they were knowingly so.

Theron might not have had to gain the amount of weight that she did for her 2018 feature Tully. He may be king of the monsters and headliner of the longest-running film franchise, but Godzilla isn’t exactly a beacon of consistency. He made his premiere in Honda Ishirô’s 1954 classic Godzilla as an allegorical figure, warning of the dangers of nuclear technology, before eventually settling into a drive-in movie star and a hero for children, as well as those young at heart. That’s a somewhat unlikely legacy, especially considering that the original film ends with the creature’s unambiguous death.

That flickering feeling of unease that seems to creep across oneself in the night; a suggestion of the evil that lies within humanity condensed into an experience. Naoki Urasawa's “Monster” captures just this sensation. Adapted by Madhouse and Masayuki Kojima twenty years ago, the story of the wronged doctor chasing down the devil-incarnate manages to stick in the memory of all those who have seen it. The manga was the grand prize winner of the Osamu Tezuka Cultural Prize in 1999 and its anime adaptation was equally acclaimed amongst fans and critics. Its unmistakable blend of horror and psychological crime thriller captivated audiences and left its mark in the cultural footprint of the anime industry.

Jujutsu Kaisen has reached the peak of popularity, and there are hardly any anime that come close to it. It is going through a crucial phase, with the King of Curses becoming more potent. Multiple Jujutsu sorcerers have come and gone, but none were strong enough to end Ryomen Sukuna’s terror. The fans are hoping to see Yuji Itadori get a power-up soon.
Jujutsu Kaisen has often made headlines with positive as well as negative reasons. While the positive reasons are mainly related to the anime and manga, the negative reasons are caused by the mangaka. But recently, several people have been lashing out at the anime after they swept away the awards at the 2024 Crunchyroll Anime Awards.

Plot: Not wanting to live in the shadows any longer, Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Owl and Tigger take their fight to the town of Ashdown, leaving a bloody trail of death and mayhem in their wake.
Review: Last year’s Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey proved to be one of the worst horror films of the year. It was my least favorite theatrical experience and completely barren of any passion. It was a dull affair that failed to deliver much on the horror or the fun. So I rolled my eyes when a sequel was announced. Then they reached near the back of my skull when the Poohniverse was announced. But I’m here to tell you that it appears the filmmakers learned their lesson and understand what their films need to be: fun.

Since the beginning of his career, Hirokazu Koreeda became recognized for his films representing the family cinema genre—intrinsically linked with the favorite of Western critics among Japanese filmmakers: Yasujiro Ozu. This was already the case with Koreeda's 1995 debut film, “Maboroshi no hikari”, a visual meditation on loss and the passing of time, told through the eyes of a single mother who has just lost her beloved husband. Since the early 1960s and the death of Yasujiro Ozu, Western critics seemed to be engaged in an excruciating quest to find a new ancestor to Ozu's poetics of cinema—and finally, there was one; Koreeda became the new Ozu.

One more video recap to enjoy as a last look back at the movies of 2023. Vietnamese film critic Nguyên Lê has revealed his Cinema Montage 2023 video, featuring a look at his Top 25 Best Films from last year (+ 2 extras). Oppenheimer won the Academy Award for Best Picture a few weeks ago, ending the 2023 awards season. Though that doesn't mean we can't still continue to celebrate all the great movies from last year. His video features many of my personal 2023 favorites as well, including: A Thousand and One, American Fiction, Godzilla: Minus One, Past Lives, Perfect Days, The Promised Land, and The Taste of Things. Plus other underrated gems like Polite Society, Sleep, Monster, Knock at the Cabin, Inside the Yellow Cocoon Shell, and Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. The video comes in under 3 minutes and is a wonderfully short and sweet reminder of all the beauty cinema offers us every year.

Benedict Cumberbatch regularly draws rave reviews for his acting work and has appeared opposite many big names. His work in the upcoming Netflix series Eric opposite a big blue monster puppet got him particularly emotional though, the star shared in London on Thursday.
“We had this fantastic operator Olly and his team creating this incredible life-size — for a monster — thing,” he said in a surprise appearance on stage at the Next on Netflix showcase in central London. “It was fantastic. Those guys really know what they’re doing. And there was so much humor in what he was doing, which totally might not work through the whole piece, but at times, it’s going to be great. And he was very inventive.”
Cumberbatch was touched by the hard work going into the fluffy monster. “I literally cried the day I realized what he was doing, which must have been about four months in.

Michelle Yeoh took a moment on Monday to clarify why she handed Emma Stone’s best actress Oscar to Jennifer Lawrence just before Stone accepted the trophy onstage.
At the 2024 Oscars on Sunday, five former best actress Oscar winners took a moment to introduce each of this year’s nominees, with last year’s winner Michelle Yeoh set to hand the trophy to the winner. When Stone’s name was called, though, Yeoh took an extra second to hand the trophy to Jennifer Lawrence, so Lawrence could hand it to Stone.
“I confused you, but I wanted to share that glorious moment of handing over [your] Oscar to you together with your best friend Jennifer!!” Yeoh wrote on Instagram on Monday.

Well, it's official — Netflix's live-action remake of "Avatar: The Last Airbender" paid off (for the company at least). Avatar Aang (Gordon Cormier) will get to continue mastering the elements, now that "Avatar" has been renewed for seasons 2 and 3.
"Avatar" is just the latest anime that Netflix has brought to live-action. On this spectrum, "Avatar" falls below the well-received "One Piece" remake but ahead of the swiftly-canned live-action "Cowboy Bebop" (that even original series creator Shinichirō Watanabe couldn't finish).
Netflix hasn't stopped there. The streamer is letting "Stranger Things" creators the Duffer Brothers take a crack at "Death Note" and has had a live-action "Gundam" movie in development since 2021. Other studios are getting into anime properties as well: Lionsgate has recruited "Shang-Chi" director Destin Daniel Cretton to adapt "Naruto" into a live-action movie.
Anime YouTube critic Bennett The Sage has speculated that Netflix is leaning hard into anime adaptations because,...

With four TV and film projects in as many years, few filmmakers right now are more prolific than Hirokazu Kore-eda.
The veteran Japanese filmmaker behind titles like the Palme d’Or-winning Shoplifters and Still Walking continued his hot streak after landing his third directing honor from the Asian Academy Sunday night for his last feature, Monster. Last night’s win was Kore-eda’s second consecutive Best Director win at the Asian Film Awards after nabbing the gong with the Korean-language Broker in 2023.
“I’m in a really good spot right now,” Kore-eda told Deadline shortly before picking up the award on Sunday. “I’m not forcing myself at all. I’m constantly working. I have good stamina.” The filmmaker told us that he has no intentions of slowing down.
“I’m currently working on a streaming drama I shot last autumn. I’m in the editing phase for that now,...

The maker of Shoplifters and I Wish talks about Monster, his dark new film about our dangerously fragmented world – and the movie he’s planning about his dad, who endured horrors as a PoW in Russia
Film sets are like families, says Hirokazu Kore-eda. They are loose social structures, nominally hierarchical and ideally geared towards a common goal. While the Japanese director accepts that this puts him in the role of the father, he disputes the suggestion that this automatically makes him the boss. He supposes the cast are the children – often literally so. “The time we all spend together,” he says, “is very intense. The cast and crew become very important to me.” But at the end of each shoot, the unit collapses, the family members disperse and all that’s left are memories, mementoes and of course the actual movie itself.

Oscar winner Ryusuke Hamaguchi’s formalist arthouse drama Evil Does Not Exist won the best film prize Sunday night at the Asia Film Awards in Hong Kong.
The Japanese film industry had a big night overall at the 17th edition of the awards ceremony, which was hosted this year in Hong Kong’s gleaming new Xiqu Centre, part of the city’s $2.7 billion West Kowloon Cultural District development. Japanese festival favorite Hirokazu Kore-eda won best director for his mystery drama Monster, while the great Koji Yakusho took best actor for Wim Wender’s moving minimalist drama Perfect Days. Hamaguchi’s chief collaborator on Evil Does Not Exist, Eiko Ishibashi, won best music and the Kaiju critical and commercial sensation Godzilla Minus One claimed both best visual effects and best sound.
In many ways, it was Zhang Yimou’s night, however. The venerated Chinese director took the stage twice, once to...
