Fantastic movie. Last 20 minutes of the movie was outstanding. Climax was out of the box thinking. Ashwin and chandan nailed their roles. Bgm was sensational. The way of narration of the climax makes me completely love the film. The way every character was introduced with their respective Bgm was very much notable. The Background Score gave very much life to the characters and the film. Many would have come for chandan but they will definitely fall for ashwin. Man he stole the show. Must watch. Infact it could be watched several times. Beautiful experience for a cinema lover. Guys don't miss it in theatres.

The only thing holding this film back was really a knock-out blow. There are some twists near the end but unfortunately they're pretty predictable. Some actors unfortunately finish their careers with very poor films, but I think Ashwin hassan and Chandan raj can be proud of the final product he put forward. This one is worth a watch. This is a really solid movie

This is a really solid movie in almost every aspect. The plot is interesting, the dialogue is snappy and clever, the action sequences are extremely well done. In fact the first action sequence in the movie is incredible to watch. Tense, surprising and easy to follow. It's also a beautifully shot film. Despite taking place almost entirely at night, it is never too dark.
Personality we have seen many films like this, most recently Black and Blue which I scored highly and again this, whilst in the same spirit as Black and Blue this film actually has a more realistic feel to it which I enjoyed, I especially loved the original music used, not what you expect.

The acting and directing are what makes this movie such an enjoyable ride. Ashwin hassan continues to prove he is a force to be reckoned and one of the best of his generation and all the supporting cast is really good. Delivers a great performance once again. Lot of fun thrilling brutal action scenes throughout. Plot good too. Twist was a tiny bit predictable, still was a good twist. Fun action movie. Definitely entertaining. Direction is good. Decent action sequences make this film entertaining but I still wanted more in the end. I knew what I was getting myself into, but I still had hope for a better outcome. Best thing by far is the script. Great dialog. Delivered by a great cast, with all doing their part. But it's all good, head to toe. Everything down to the sound design is notably good. As for the Movie itself, it was Good but nowhere near the Event I was Expecting and in the End, i was let down. Overall, There were some good elements to this but there were also quite a few things they could of done to make this a lot better than it is.

The film is entirely devoid of melodrama and filled with grey characters that the sanctimonious section of the masses would find hard to side and connect with. The film, thus, is a courageous attempt in a plethora of ways and calls for a necessary viewing. Also one of the finest and action packed movie ever created. A feel of refreshing movie after a long list of never ending flops by the kannada industry. Cheers to both the actors and directors for creating nothing short of a masterpiece worth watching. This movie was pretty good overall. Intense with some solid, hard-hitting action scenes. The story was very predictable but still enjoyable. Start to finish suspense thriller. Suspense that takes you in a twisted situation. Decent enough with a few gripping action scenes to have kept my interest for a couple of hours but a bit thin on plot.
Worth watching but unlikely to stand out in the crime movie genre. The plus side to the story was that it was a simple, yet entertaining crime story, with an intriguing first set to get everyone hooked. There were a few scenes that were dialogue heavy, and it got a little dry at points.

I think Its outdated typical Kannada movie, and I really hated the plot of the movie initially but now that i have watched it, I cant help but say, that is one of the Best Action movies sandalwood has ever delivered to us.
Its of course not an extraordinary movie, but the director has really turned a very ordinary story into a very sweet romantic movie full of heart, which is definitely worth a second watch ! :)

This storyline is nice, so is the idea. Chandan Raj did his role well. Very Impressive in his very first movie. Overall a great package that us as an audience would love to watch.
I would really suggest you to just pull any of your loved one and go watch this movie and you will be more than pleased after watching it. Entertainment Guaranteed. The chemistry between the lead pair is good nothing over the top. Aravind character is extremely sweet and lovable.
Well generally I don't go to cinema to watch kannada movie but I don't know why I really wanted to watch this one...
And do stay till the credits roll. You've something more to enjoy.

Whenever an action movie is made in India, I think of a couple of check boxes for it to be a good movie :
An interesting premise -Charismatic Lead -Compelling antagonist -Solid Music -Killer BGM -Witty Dialogues -Good Action Sequences -Third Act which isn't dragged out -An engaging screenplay Thugs of Ramaghada has it all.
It's very very rare for a Kannada Action movie which is set abroad, to check all the boxes and yet end up being a fun watch.
Chandan Raj is excellent as the leading man as he charms his way through the action and kick ass dialogues. Ashwin Hassan is fantastic as the Co-Actor, and their chemistry basically seals the deal for this movie.
A Kannada movie which has a good plot, better direction, acting with some kickass action and some banging music.
Do watch it.

I'll be honest. I went in thinking I wasn't going to like it too much but I'm glad me wanting to support these actors outweighs any skepticism. I don't think the trailers gave it justice.
A surprisingly different take on the script making. Heavy on the action that came across as realistic & succinctly made the point. A couple of well hidden twists that caught me. I think the actors were really cool taking on a movie like this that would be considered "beneath them". Sometimes all it takes is a simple and great story without all the CGI we've been rolling in over the past 10 years. Must watch kannada movie.

After long time, a peaceful and much thrilled movie.. Story, Screenplay and dialogues and technical team gave 100%. Very fresh story and interesting and composing scenes are soo good... All castings are acted soo well..Backing up the lead performance are fantastic feats from the entire supporting cast. The entire movie was highly engaging.... All the characters were absolutely stunning.... Director brilliance amazing. BGM is superb and Expecting more movies from the team. We love each and every characters like there are just 5 characters each and every character are portrayed very well and this movie has lot of gripping and action scenes and lot of emotional scenes.
Just enjoy it simply and stay with the flow.

There are times I felt that a certain scene could have made better to give the viewer a satisfying moment but that would be a totally different movie. The chemistry between the characters is maintained perfectly through the night scenes and through the entire movie.
This movie is magical in its own way. Basically the cinematography is excellent. After watching this, I regret having it delayed so much. Karthik Maralabhavi is a promising director and he has proven himself in his later movies. This I think is a turning point for him towards that. I think this is really underrated and that could be because of the viewers expecting something different. Don't keep them high. Just enjoy it simply and stay with the flow.

But to be a real good movie, and by that I mean one I would watch again, the story can't be so predictable you can see it coming from miles away. It's watchable on the first viewing,Actually, despite having a strong cast, the film never really goes anywhere and just provides a somewhat decent endeavor, but nothing grand nor ingeniously made to similar projects out there. It's the sort of story you can see coming from a mile away, but it is fast paced and pretty relentless in the telling of it, making it entertaining and very watchable. Lots of violence and chase scenes, action fans will appreciate it. Loved the time limit placed on the characters, Ashwin and Chandan is great.

The story is great and never confusing and the cinematatography is so beautiful and rich in colours and the ending is thriling and suspensfull. I havent seen any other kannada films this year but this film certainly makes me want to see more of then. I can talk about this movie all day. I love action movies and this is easily one of the best ones I've seen this year. Apart from entertainment, it also provides lessons on how to make action movies, efficiently. One thing to talk about is the plot. It is superficially heavy this time, in fact the heaviest out of all the series. Chandan and ashwin great cast.

All actors performed nicely, Chandan raj and Ashwin Hassan are one of the best. Movie is Fantastic. I don't want to reveal much, but you need to watch this to make your own judgement. You're either gonna think there's a lot going on in the movie and dislike it, OR you're going be very pleasantly surprised with the message. You might have your own reservations on the HOW, but will welcome the WHAT that the movie is trying to convey.
Overall, I think the story did try too hard to throw you off (and...it worked...?) but I guess I'll give it a pass. Surely worth a watch! Must watch. Surely worth a watch! Must watch.

This movie is the best Kannada movie with original screenplay in last 2 years. Lead Actor brought back my faith in action movies. Kudos to Director too for keeping the audience engaged throughout the movie with some kind of dark touch. Audience are gonna love this action avatar as it is a breath of fresh air for the otherwise social message man. This movie is an action and crime riot that stays soooo true to its name. Direction is excellent, keeping the film constantly moving and mobile, resulting in a great pace. The shootouts are well filmed and thrilling. The music by Vivek chakravarthy is fantastic. Nice Friday night flick! Overall, a good, thrilling movie. Grabs your attention from the word go and doesn't let go. Ashwin hassan and chandan raj on their point. I did have one character reveal that I did not think about, but other than that ... But as it is, this movie works as a thriller, even when you know what's up. Good one. The movie has done great work in all its technical departments especially the sound design of the movie was extraordinary they didn't even miss a minuscule detail. The first half of the movie moves at a medium pace and builds up the characters and encloses us to that area by its visuals and by the end of the first half the movie switches to a drama mood with some good moments of family and suspense.
Overall this movie should be watched in the theatre because the technicality of the movie demands it. Moreover, Thugs of Ramaghada deserves it.

The movie was engaging. And the theme shifts in the 2nd half which was unpredictable and very entertaining with the tone of the film but filled with crime and actions. Few aspects were repetitive and unreal so but I just can't remember watching a such an awesome action flick in a long time.
The theatre had only some people in the audience including me but experience was simply amazing
Chandan and ashwin and the BGM were brilliant. The Twists and screenplay were on point almost every time. Villain character was weird but it was essential for the movie.

A bit sloppy but great twists and adrenaline filled ride! Ashwin Hassan is so awesome as the good protogonist, the bulk of the film is intense and it has you continuously wanting to know what happens next. Directot is great as always so is everyone else. I would highly recommend thugs of ramaghada for fans of crime/action genres. Just enough twists and unpredictability to make this better than most thrillers. Whilst some of it is pretty simple the lead performance is great and it's pacing is pretty much perfect. Much better than average if unfortunately not spectacular. Locations are fine. Bgm is good.

Wow whatta movie. Went to theatre trusting few reviews and this movie turned out to be a blast. It had action, great satire, very different scence, great storyline and a twist in the climax which India is waiting for many years. Fantastic acting by Chandan Raj and Ashwin Hassan. Actress also done well.
